Fantastic trip, for the last km I was accompanied by a young eagle playing in the sky along with a falcon and few ravens. At the top two more eagles joined the party. In 2003 there were 57 pairs of eagles in Iceland so one could expect them to be maybe between 60-80 today. So three is a pretty big portion of the Icelandic Eagle population. They are mainly seen at the Breidafjordur Area, Gilsfjordur Area and in the West-Fjords
